
What is G Society?
G Society is Nova Performing Arts' elite hip hop training program, created for dedicated dancers who are passionate about developing their skills, performance quality and industry knowledge.
Through high-level training, guest choreographers, competitions and performance opportunities, G Society aims to inspire the next generation of hip hop artists while building confidence, discipline, teamwork and a strong sense of community.
The program is designed for dancers who are committed to working hard, pushing their limits and striving for excellence.
G Society Summit Crew Auditions 2026
INFORMATION
Who Can Audition?
- Summit Crew is open to dancers turning 14 years and older who are passionate about hip hop and committed to taking their training to the next level.
- You do not need to be a current Nova Performing Arts student to audition. We welcome dancers from all studios and backgrounds who are willing to embrace the expectations and commitment required of an elite training crew.
- For younger dancers, Apex Crew auditions will be announced in the future.
Audition Information 2026
- Date: Wednesday 1st July 2026
Time: 4:30pm – 8:00pm - Headshots will be taken at the beginning of the audition. These images may be used for cast announcements, promotional material, social media and other media associated with G Society and Nova Performing Arts.
- Please wear comfortable hip hop attire that allows you to move freely and be sure to present your best self on the day.
If You Are Successful
- Successful dancers will be invited to join the G Society Summit Crew for Term 3, 2026.
Weekly Training
Tuesdays
4:45pm – 5:30pm
- Fees - $15.50 per week
- Included in the Nova Performing Arts Unlimited Package
- Non-Nova students will be required to pay a $50 annual enrolment fee to cover administration and insurance costs
- Additional expenses may apply throughout the year, including guest choreographers, specialist trainers, competition entry fees, costumes, shoes, accommodation and travel costs.
Class Attire & Requirements
- All Summit Crew members must arrive ready to train.
- Required Each Week
- Full hip hop attire
- Hip hop shoes (joggers or high-top sneakers)
- Water bottle
- Appropriate footwear must be worn at every lesson to ensure dancers can safely participate in all training activities.
Expectations
Summit Crew members are expected to:
- Conduct themselves professionally at all times
- Treat teachers, teammates, event staff and competitors with respect
- Be open-minded and willing to learn
- Attend classes consistently and arrive on time
- Represent Nova Performing Arts and G Society positively both on and off the stage
Competitions & Performances
- Summit Crew is an elite training and performance program designed to prepare dancers for future competition opportunities.
- Training will commence in Term 3, 2026
- Competitions and performances will commence in 2027
- Travel will be required and is likely to include Sydney and other locations
- Costumes will be required and will be an additional expense
- Additional rehearsals may be scheduled throughout the year as needed
- The first training period will focus on building strong foundations, developing performance skills and creating a united crew culture before entering competitions.
Commitment Required
- Please only audition if you are serious about becoming a member of G Society Summit Crew.
- This is an elite training program that requires commitment, regular attendance, dedication and a strong work ethic. Crew members are expected to arrive prepared, train consistently, maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful and supportive team environment.
- We are looking for dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, grow as performers and be part of something special.
